Food For Haiti Update

We are pleased to announce the total for our Food for Haiti Giving Campaign.
As of December 31, we have reached $21,500, surpassing our goal of $15,000.
This was my first attempt at organizing a Giving Campaign.
At first I was hesitant and concerned that I had set the goal too high.
Yet in my heart I kept hearing the words,

“You do not have because you do not ask God.” (James 4:2)

My job was not to raise the funds.
My job was simply to ask, and to trust God for the result.
Once again God is seen to be faithful.
I am reminded of the truth of Paul’s words:

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)

We continue to face the challenge of finding more food.
Our current supply is sufficient for a few months, but more will be needed.
The tactics and the resulting instability of the gang activity makes this hard.
But we move forward by faith, having seen God’s faithfulness at work.
Indeed, He is able to do more than we ask or imagine.

So let’s keep asking for God to provide daily bread for the children!
