- Prayer Request for LaHatte

The principal from LaHatte school has received a request from another Chistian school in a neighbouring community (not an MP school) to hold their school at our school for the time being. Their area has been hit hard by the gangs, and the families are moving to the mountains for safety. They are asking to hold three classes at the LaHatte school. Pray for the principal, for discernment in their decision, for the possibility of supporting this school, and for a good result from their decision.
- Upcoming MPC Board Meeting

On Saturday, January 24 the Canadian Board will be meeting in person to spend time discerning and praying about the vision for Mission Possible Canada moving forward. Pray for a spirit of unity and clarity, and a that they may agree on a path that builds on the good foundation of the past, and expands the kingdom impact for the future. The new Director Norm Sennema will be sharing what he has learned through the first 6 months in this role, and will lead the Board in setting a clear direction for the Board and for the work of Mission Possible Canada.
- Degeance in the Red Zone

The Degeance School finds itself caught in a Red Zone. between two rival gangs. Family members from school families have been killed in the cross-fire. Pray for protection and an end to the conflict.
Pray also for the principal who does not live in the area, and who finds back road routes to get there every day to lead the school.
- A prayer for the church in Haiti!
Tyranny, cruelty, and spiritual bondage fill Haiti’s history. The Spanish genocide against the indigenous Arawaks, Spanish and then French slavery, and Haiti’s own brutal leaders promoted a spirit of violence for centuries. Voodoo (a religion of spirits) creates fear throughout society. Many Catholics practise some voodoo.
Pray that the power of the Holy Spirit might overcome the forces of evil. Pray for the Holy Spirit to cleanse the Church. Ask God to bind the powerful spirits underlying voodooism in Jesus’ name, so the nation can be wholly dedicated to the Lord.
